    SWB Wood Steering Wheel

    SOLD, thanks.
Original (not reproduction) 420mm VDM wood steering wheel. It's perfectly straight, has no cracks, chips or de-lamination. There are "bubbles" in the varnish from a previous attempt to refinish it and the black paint on the spokes is a bit amateurish. The turn signal canceling ring and horn contact pin are included (as pictured). $950 plus $45 shipping within the CONUS.

Does this number 111 mean it is the 111th wheel produced?

Those numbers don`t mean date, production #, etc.....probably a VDM internal number.......that`s my opinion!

I bought this wheel and it arrived yesterday. It had some nasty thick bubbling varnish and shiny black paint. I stripped it all down to wood & steel. I just finshed applying the 1st coat of Gunstock Tru-oil......it`s startin to look good again!
