Every aluminum woody I`ve had has had cracked wood ......that being from the flex in these wheels......not an easy fix. When buyin one, look it over closely for bent spokes and cracks!

Hi Franz, It wouldn’t be correct for an early 67S?

I have a wood alloy wheel that I have had for 40 + years. I will sell it when I find it for $2000.00. No cracks and all original condition.
May even have the horn hocky puck. Still paying off painter so send email address and money if you want it.

yep this design flaw and vibrations under certain driving conditions (due to the flex) made them switch to steel...this is first hand information from the producer of the steel wheel

Mine has the original wheel with leather.
I have the opportunity to buy a wood/alu wheel I was proposed. I am not familiar with these wooden wheels, for that reason my question. Thanks for the clarity.
