    help with paint question

hi all. i've been trying to find the correct paint for my swb. it was aquamarine metallic which i believe was a 356 color. i found the paint code but depending on the type of paint the color is off. i did find these photos of the color i'm trying to match but the paint is 55 line glasurit which is illegal to get here in CA. they do offer the same paint code in their line 90 which is water based but i'm not sure if the color will be the exact same. anyone deal with trying to color match between urethane and water based? was the color an exact or close enough match?

color code for line 55 glasurit

There is glasurit paint just north of Monterey, seaside maybe.
Some counties in CA don’t have the restrictions, Santa Cruz being one, but the glasurit store closed.

There is a guy named Mark Miletick in Scott’s valley, he buys paint all the time and paints several cars a year.
See if you can find him, he would have some answers.

And if I’m allowed an opinion, I don’t like the photo of that spray out.

thanks scott. i'll see if i can get in touch with mark. and i 100% agree the spray out is not what i'm going for. it's too saturated and the flakes too coarse. im looking for a finer metallic for sure.
