Please I need Help on serial number and production number !!!!!

I need to know if all 911S 1969 had a production number stamp on the dash under the radio location ? I bought one and there is no number stamp there...... And what about the number stamp on the tunel ? does the 911S had one ?

    Thanks to All !!

    Send PM to "davep".
Pretty sure the number on the dash was written with a grease pen, so may not still be there. There should also be a number stamped below the radio, but only visible after you take off the knee pad.
What is the number stamped in the trunk on the passenger side (right side as you are looking forward). That is the place you will always find the VIN number, not on the tunnel (like a VW).

Luc, 1969 is a tough year. There should be a stamped number on the lower portion of the dash, below the radio opening and hidden behind the kneepad. This number should also be written in lumber crayon on the top of the dash/cowl between the instruments and the windshield, but the whole dash cover needs to be removed, and the windshield with it.
Only a Karmann bodied car would have a tunnel #, and no 911S was built by Karmann to my knowledge.

Luc, as described by Dave, above the gauges on the dash. See his picture above.

My 911 S from 1969 has the number stamped into the sheet metal under the hole for the radio. The same number is also found under the dashboard, written in yellow crayon.
