    Door Panel Foam Strips

    Hi,

    I’m setting up new door panels for a 1972 targa. I stumbled upon a thread a few years ago that pointed out that the panels require the foam strips and someone was kind enough to post a link to this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RP6FCKM...roduct_details
    I wasn’t able to find that thread anymore and just wanted to confirm that these are indeed a good replacement for the factory foam strips? Open to other suggestions as well

    They are intended to eliminate rattle/noise from door panel touching the metal door frame. The tape from Amazon is of proper width and firmness. I have used it on my '72 Targa successfully.

    Yep i figured as much. Don’t want to cut corners while putting the panels back!
    Thanks for confirming. The ones in my original panels are way too old for me to establish what the original height was.
