I just got mine back from the printers. They are done as a cling vinyl so when stuck down very hard to see that its not a water decal. DM if anyone wants one. $11USD inc postage.

I sent a text. I'd like 3 to 5. One for my car and the others for cars I'm working on. So these are designed to face back toward the driver correct?

As discussed in the following thread, have we reached a consensus as to when Porsche stopped applying this decal to cars?

Hi, cling can be taken off if required. on the date cut off - it makes no sense that they carried on with this sticker after the shift pattern was on top of the gear knob.

True, but as someone who has a 3M sticky in his glove compartment to place on the steering wheel when I park it in an attended garage, just because there is a shift pattern on the knob doesn’t mean a new driver won’t throw it into reverse at first. But yes, the Germans assume we are rational and not idiots.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
