    SWB sunroof clip

Originally intended for a SWB hotrod project that will never come to fruition.SWB sunroof 005.jpgSWB sunroof 002.jpgSWB sunroof 003.jpgSWB sunroof 006.jpgSWB sunroof 010.jpgSWB sunroof 013.jpg

As shown in photo#5, the transmission part# 644-564-601-50 and the pliable shaft part# 901-564-615-06 as missing. These were gone when I purchased to clip years ago. They are shown in the factory parts illustration 811 #30 + #31. When I inquired, they were available from Porsche.
Beyond testing the motor, I have done nothing to the clip since it arrived from Arizona years ago.

    $3,500.00 OBO

Local pickup is preferred. I will coordinate with the buyer on shipping arrangements if needed.

Additional detailed digital photos available via email.

To answer some of shipping questions and inquiries.
Shipping from or pickup in Lakewood Wa. 98499
I will include a shipping crate, at no cost, that will measure approx. 60" wide x 84" long x 24" tall @ 300lbs.
In the past I have had consistent success with Fastenal using their 3PL - (3rd party logistics) for shipping large items.
Local pickup is preferred, however I am flexible on delivery, at a reasonable distance + fuel.

Additional digital photos available via email.

Free bump and question...what is the difference between a SWB and a LWB top sunroof clip? Is it the dimensions of the sunroof, mechanism, drain locations?

The drain location on the SWB is above the rear quarter window.
On the later LWB cars the drains were moved to above the rear deck lid.
To the best of my knowledge everything else is similar.

I believe the rear drains were moved to above the rear deck lid for 1968MY, last year of SWB.

That very well could be correct.

I am using the "Original Porsche 911" book by Peter Morgan, page 31, as the reference, of the rear drain location and program models (SWB).
On the later cars, B program (LWB), it appears that, starting in August 1968 the drains were moved below the rear window and above the rear deck lid

As with some publications related to these cars in the early years, there could be an error.

Can you tell me the measurement without the crate?

Can you tell me about the wiring for the controls and power?

    Thanks,
