1968 Original "one Year only" Door Cards

These cards or, panels if you prefer to call them, are in very good condition. No speaker holes, no large tears, no extra holes. Cards themselves are not warped to any degree. Door pockets also in excellent shape with elastic cord intact and firmly attached as originally. The vinyl has just one slight scratch/tear not deep size of a dime (enlarge picture to see it). BASKETWEAVE
    $700 plus shipping from Florida.

Interesting… I thought the one year only ‘68 door cards were elephant hide: https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...light=Elephant

Both basket weave and ‘elephant’ were used in ‘68. Same style, both one year only.

Some late model year 68 S and Ls did not get the Elephant hide; I think Porsche ran out.
I wonder if any non-S or Ls were optioned with Elephant hide?
Since we say door "card" should we continue with the Brit talk and say "boot" and "Bonnet" when referring to other parts of the car? Maybe "wing" instead of fender?
    Bump for nice door "cards"

Ha I didn't realize that was the brit's vocabulary. I can do card but I don't think wing for fender will catch on for me.
