WTB: Steering Wheel 69 Hot Rod

I am looking for a steering wheel for my new 69 hot rod.

I am thinking either a 73 RS style wheel, or wheel similar to the wheels used on the few (5?) 69 911 cars that were rallied, or a period correct MOMO.

Wheels with some history, patina, style and simplicity preferred.

Not looking for a deal, looking for something special, sports purpose and period correcti'ish

I have a couple of period hot-rod wheels that you might like. Both spent time on my then hot-rodded '69T (now restored to matching-numbers bone stock, caveat a Porsche factory prototype wood wheel). One is a Racemark Raid (14") and the other is a Formuling (14 1/4"). Both come with hubs. Racemark.jpgFormuling.jpg

Good chance I can help you on the momo surface.
If possible, please write me on IG https://instagram.com/_more_momo

Otherwise, send me a DM but it may take time for me to get back...

Thanks guys, sorry for the slow response from me.

@raspritz thanks so much for linking those are beautiful, but not quite what I was looking for.

@Robi I will check out your IG tonight and touch base with you if I see anything I like.

I am leaning more towards the style wheel of the 1969 S GT Wheel, or the 73 RS wheel.

Will also consider a 69 momo or R style wheel.

Thanks again for sharing guys, keep them coming if anyone has one of these.

Buy this one on Ebay from Don at Dallas Custom Steering wheels. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911...p2056016.l4276
I have a nice butterfly horn pad if you need one.

Only difference I think is the horn button. I believe that the wheel seen on some of the GTS is the 380mm with the SWB batwing instead or the LWB style which is what the RS had.

The RS steering wheel was made from a Porsche 914 wheel. I have a clean 1970 914 wheel in ebonite that simply needs to to be sent to Don at Dallas Custom Steering Wheels to make it into a perfect clone of an original RS wheel. I also have an original but repaired hockey puck horn button as well as a new after market one. If interested PM me with your email address for details.

    TIA
