    Engine 1968 Aluminum

    1968 aluminum engine.
What you see in the picture is what is included with the engine
This engine does not turn over.
These early aluminum engines are bulletproof.
The engine number is 3280352. It does not look like a standard engine stamping.
    901/14
    Build number 11887
This might work for somebody who’s looking for aluminum case.
We’re looking for an engine for a rolling tub.

To the extent that it might help the seller, isn't the 901/14 engine matched to a sportomatic transmission?

Anyone restoring a sporto might have amplified interest.

    Otherwise, free bump.

I can believe the engine type # and the engine build #. However, the engine serial # is faked. It is not appropriate for the build #, it has no stars and it is on the wrong side of the boss.

Wow , the engine has definitely been re-stamped , and not by someone who knew what they were doing . The picture is not focused on the front of the boss , but it does look like there has been grinding on the front to remove the original numbers .

It was done a long time ago that’s the way I got the engine.
I wonder what engine numbers are close to the build Number 11887
