S rocker trim

Looking for opinions regarding the reproduction S rocker trim offered by Stoddards among others.

Does the rubber trim fit well? Any fit issues. Ect.?

I’ve got a set of side script on the car ATM, but looking at going back to stock, at $490 each for Porsche trim, trying to work out my options.

I noted that the end caps don’t fit well, and I’ve already been through that issue with the bumper end caps a few years back.

Buy the Porsche ones, they fit.

Agree with buying the Porsche version…..
Be careful with the rubber insert as originals had a tapered end ..
As I recall you will need to trim to match that detail.
Verify with others for comments

Also if you search a few Porsche dealers on line using part # 901 559 105 53 ( not sure if R or L)
Each dealer offers different discounts …..this one was $327 @ byers porsche in Ohio

How did you get that price from Circle Porsche. I can’t seem to get parts prior to 85 listed, and a PN won’t work?

When you google circle porsche you need to add “parts” for their online version.
Just checked and its price was $316 , great buy

Also location will be important for shipping ….obviously closer to you is best.

Yes, you need to know the part number and put dashes in the number. If you are picking the part up in Long Beach, they charge you $5. Just picked up the front oil cooler for my '69S, $1,462. Out the door, about $1.620.
