    FS: Bosch H1's For 356's

I was rummaging around my shop the other day and found some oddball trim rings. They have the four adjustment screws used for H1's and they also have the mounting tab at 6:00 used for 356's (and VW's). I have seen only one set of H1's set up for 356's in my time with these cars so these have to be extremely rare.

This is the only set that I have ever seen. Note the city light.

I think I'm going to go ahead and use these to build a set of Bosch H1's for 356's. They can be either 6v or 12v. Planning to use the later H1 Bosch lenses but if a buyer wanted earlier lenses we could do that also.

Bosch introduced H1's in 1968 so these are not strictly correct for 356's, just a cool after-market add-on.

    Price: $1,950.00

    Thanks,
    John

They are actually not super rare. Or maybe now they are?

I came across a few sets years ago when I was interested in a H1 set for my 911 but could not find nos H1 trim rings or some one restoring them.
I think these were more used on VWS than 356.

Just my $02 (before spending money and parts).

I do hate that word "rare" and rarely use it (sorry). It's usually used to justify an exorbitant price. Anyway, in this case I don't think rare (if true) equals $$$.
