    WTB: door hinge parts

Looking for two door-side hinge pieces, and hardware too if possible. I bought a door that doesn't have the hinges on it and I'm looking to go stock rather than the aftermarket aluminum route. I have the chassis-side pieces already.

Also if you have the door strap/stay hardware for the chassis side and any good door straps/stays I'd be interested.

    Thanks,

    Max

I have a set of door stay assemblies. PM me with your email address for details. Not sure if they are appropriate for a 1971 but I know for sure they fit a 1974 and up G model cars.

    TIA

    SWB? or LWB?

I have some door checks for either, and some other random stuff, but I'd need to know what car you have.

I'm putting a G body door onto a '71 chassis, so I think that means I need late model stuff.

The door half of the hinge I think is the same.

Edit: Please disregard this post, I realized I do have the bits afterall.
Figured I'd add a diagram for the hinge bits. They don't have a separate number, I guess they are treated as part of the door.

OK I'm dumb. I went out and checked the doors and I was plain mis-remembering. One door has both halves of the hinge, the other only has the door side but that's fine.

But while I was at it I got some pictures of the door stay areas in case that helps to inform which type I need.

I'm also considering a leather strap ala 911R.

I found out the blue door is ugly on the inside of that area. I think I will hold off on the door strap purchase until I can have the guy that will be welding up the mirror holes and fitting the doors to the car look at them and tell me what he wants to do. Obviously it should be repaired correctly though.
