    Spinning Shifter

For some reason my gear shifter shaft (not the knob) spins which makes it a pain to change gears. Tried researching and it seems that the ball assembly can loosen from the shift lever. Pelican says you can just epoxy the two parts back together? Anyone else seen this?

The shifters were epoxied into the base for crash breakaway protection. U can re-epoxy it or I brazed mine.
