    Patrick Tambay

Sad news today, one of the really nice guys in racing. Met him when he had just won the first Pilot Elf competition. I think I was his first sign up for the next years competition. He was a great coach even though he hadn't even yet raced himself.
Always gracious whenever I caught him at races through the years. Never forgot he'd named me "El Rey del Trompo" (king of the spin), for my steps over the limit.
    He will be missed.
