    Zipper or hand stitching

    Hello,

I have a question about the original closing of the "Schlummerrollen" covers. I saw 2 of them with a zipper and I saw one with a handstitching. Has anybody originals to compare ?
    Appreciate any information.

    Hi Michael

My original covered headrests are sewn by hand.

German headrests were stitched, Colgan headrests used zippers. Porsche supplied both types with 356, not sure about 911.

Thank you for the information, I think you are right, the material of the covers with zipper looks very strange, not comparable with vinyl or real leather.
