Glove box door with black leather insert

I need enough original Porsche black leather to redo the radio area of lower dash trim on a 72.

The grain of the original leather Porsche used for this area seems unobtainable. I'd like to repurpose the leather from the glove box door trim.

I don't actually need a door, just the trim panel. Anyone?

    TIA

P.S. a lot of people seem to confuse vinyl and leather. The stuff I need originally came from a cow.

Was that an available factory option? I know these days the factory will wrap leather on anything.
