    Details details

    Hi folks....

    Late '68 build 911S 119300908.

I wonder if you can help....

During media blasting, the body tag showing the colour code on the A-post either got knicked or media blasted and my car is shortly due for paint. The restorers are asking me which type it should be.

I have the most useful Authenticity book which shows pictures of the different versions - one for 1968 and one for 1969-70.....

Is there anyone out there with a vaguely similar chassis number who could take a snap of the correct type tag or simply say left or right in the image below....

    Thanks Matthew

Looking at these, they appear pretty much the same in retrospect...can anyone shed any light...

Looking again, one has round edges and the other square....the one on the left may be for SWB cars whereas mine is a B-series....

Some weren't even riveted at all during the '70MY.
