Symbols and markings on early light glasses

    Hello,
Does anyone have any idea what the following markings on early light glasses stand for?
One is a capital A surrounded by a ring, the other is a SF-S20?
    Any input greatly appreciated.
    Best regards
    Claudius

    Claudius,

I guess the A in circle is only on lenses with the German tide/sinus/Prüfschlange and not the later E-mark.

A symbolizes also legalized in Austria. NL-> Netherlands.

SF might be "Streufenster", S20 the Hella code for the geometry of the lense.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
