This is an original rebuilt (not a new one with different markings, etc. incorrect for year version if you are concerned) K27 turbo intended for a very correct 930 restoration.

This has the better performance 7200 version upgrades which gives better mid-range and top end performance, and Maximum boost is achieved 300-500 rpms earlier than the factory turbo, due to the quicker spooling.

This was ordered from Fabspeed, who have recently stopped rebuilding them because of the lack of cores available. Core charge is $1000 if you don't have one, so a rebuild was about $3500 that way.

There are still a few new ones available - but real ones are priced at $3800 discounted, or more. Ones listed for $2000 or less are most likely Chinese replicas - beware. Also beware of fly-by-night places offering rebuilt versions that can fail and destroy your $30k engine!
