    FS: Koni Sport Shocks

This is a set of Porsche OEM front Koni struts and rear shocks. This was a sport option on 911's, Carrera's and Turbo cars. Caliper spacing is 3.5 inch's. Shocks should be serviced before using. Priced at 750.00 plus PayPal and Shipping.

    Hi Miles,

I was under the impression that Carreras could be ordered with either Bilsteins or Konis but I’ve never seen documentation specifically saying that the Konis were defined as ‘sport shocks’. Like you, I believe they were an upgrade over the Bilsteins but if you can point me to anything definitive it would be helpful for my own car.

    Thanks and good luck!

My French delivered 73S shows Koni shocks on the COA but along the way they were replaced with Bilstein struts and shocks. Were Koni's considered an upgrade over Bilstein's or is that splitting hairs? I just looked at my parts catalogue and the number for the strut assembly is 911-341-083(and 4)- 10. Anyone know if these would fit on a 73. I could sleep at night with the later date stamps that these have....thanks

Mike, Sounds like you are an authority on this matter. Perhaps you could pass along the Porsche order code number and the OEM proper terminology. THX

Nick, These struts fit the wide 3.5 inch caliper spacing such as the S aluminum calipers. Rear shocks should fit 1972 and later applications. These have internal adjustable valving wheels. THX

Original patina is really good and just right for that proper early G body restoration.
