911 2.5ST FIA / Case: magnesium or aluminium?

    Hi ,

    i have a fia 911 2.5ST whose papers are expired .
My car have a aluiminium case ( 1967 ) and FIA says that all the 2.5 have magnsium case .

I would like to know if there were 2.5ST with alu case at the time ? ( from usine porsche or private drivers/race car builders )

    Thanks

You may want to research the privateers. Both Bonomelli (italy) and Jennings (USA) 2.5STs were built from 2.0. Also T/Rs that were updated to ST spec.
