    Install On Engine Oil Cooler

I've misplaced the nuts for securing the oil cooler to the engine.

Are these ny-locks? What size are they? I've a bunch of ny-locks but they don't fit all that well and don't want to screw up the threads. What I do have are nuts that go on a thread or two then lock up. Same nut on the studs for valve cover and they all go on with several threads, then they engage the nylon.

    Thank you for your help.

Do you have the Porsche Parts Manual (aka PET) for your car? If not, you can download it from Porsche here: https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessor...artscatalogue/

But to answer your question, the PET shows a M8 nut with a wavy washer. Not a nylock.

Some Blue Loctite would probably be a good idea here.

Thank you! I've downloaded the PET.

Thanks again for taking the time to look for the answer to my questions.
