    Shout out to Ed Mayo

    I just wanted acknowledge Ed’s outstanding work at Mayo Performance. A few years ago I took my 69S heads, pistons and cylinders to Ed for inspection and a valve job. The engine had a little over 68,000 miles on it, but had sat in a barn for about 25 years. Before trying to start the engine I thought I should at least dissemble the top end for inspection and doing a top end rebuild at time seemed prudent. After inspecting everything Ed said I could just hone the cylinders and install new rings, witch I did along with him personally doing the vale job.
    Now with about another 1,500 miles on it I just did a leak down test and was amazed at the results. Four cylinders showed 0%, one showed 1/2%, and one at 1%! Thanks Ed😎

    All of the above and a friend to any enthusiast. Helped me with info on both an electrical panel rebuild and recently with an A/C question. Wonderful giving enthusiast. Thanks Ed.
