    WTB: Blaupunkt mounting parts

I am looking for the following mounting parts for installing a Blaupunkt Frankfurt on a 911 2.4 /73.

    1. 2x Side mounting brackets/clips
    2. Outer panel preferably without the leatherette/facia.

    Thank you
    Kyriakos

Hello - if you do a google search, you should be able to find a few different websites that carry the side clips. Last time I spoke with Ingo at VintageBlau, he had the clips (as well as other related parts). http://www.vintageblau.com/parts.html

A couple other companies that sell install kits:

    Hope this helps!

You'll really want the whole kit offered by koenigs-klassik as you need more to mount a radio than the items in your initial post (unless of course you already have them or are fabricating them). Unfortunately the rear piece that attached to the "newer" radios in the early '70s is really tough to find. Given koenigs has 90% of what you need, including the "right" chrome face plate (normally a $100+ item), even if you don't need the speaker, it is worth it in the long-run. The other point is that the real "outer panel" is very thin. The US-sold reproductions are too thick (probably that thick to hold the radio in place with only the two front clips).

I have contacted vintageblau and they're selling the side brackets for $125 for an original pair and $95 for a reproduction pair which I think is too much. Chromelondon seems to have the faceplate reproduction available in their web with different options for the vinyl. I will contact them in order to check if they have also the side mounting brackets.
Thank you for your good advice.

Koenigs classic was on my list and I contacted them about the full kit in order to check whether they sell the brackets separately. As I have the other parts I feel that 175 euros for the kit is way too much as I only need the side brackets and the faceplate.
    Thank you for your advice.
