    Question Oversize cylinder base gasket?

    Hi, we are in the process of rebuilding our 911/83 engine. We had to take lot of material away from the magnesium case (3rd full rebuild since 1974) and we realised that with the standard oversize gaskets of 0.5 mm we are getting our compression rate dangerously high ... is there a way to have a thicker one (e.g. 1 mm)? Anybody has done this or have a lead?
