    Dash board basket weave material

    I need to know who sells the best basket weave dash trim material.Also How is the metal trim piece on the glove box removed.I've seen various threads on the material.But who has the best as of 2023.

    Dental floss works a treat for separating the trim without distorting it.

    As to who has the best basket weave, I’ll leave that to people who’ve done this more recently then me.

    The previous owner replaced the vinyl trim with wood on my 69 911e so I'm going to be following this thread.

    buy old door cards where the speaker has been cut out. That should provide more than enough material to do you dash with the authentic stuff. The new stuff won't match original if you have it on your door cards or seats, no matter how good it is.

    There are a number of specialized-Porsche interior shops in California. Some of them even sell interior kits.

    +1. This is what I did for my 73 dash with smooth vinyl from a door card
