My good panel has a broken connector, but have a donor from a bad unit
So who can undo the rivet on the connectors and trade good connector to good unit
Maybe a computer Tech repair guy ?
    Thanks for assistance

Issue solved …..drilled the correct size for the donor rivet and was able to reuse it for new location with a little finicky fitting .
But pressed in and also some hi-strength glue under , will let it set overnight and good to go.

I see exactly the same with the 914 controls. I found what I consider a solution in using the sliders and related terminals to feed a set of 3 relays, thus only the solenoid currents are passing through the control. The relay pack would be mounted in behind the blower motor. Part of the problem with these controls is the possibility of the slider barely making contact with the conductors and thus causing the heat that melts the plastic. Once the plastic melts the contact gets even worse.

Makes total sense , next unit will go that route …
I was nervous to try this but these units are so expensive …..had to give it a go.
I was lucky things went well
    Thanks for additional insight
