    Targa - silentbloc ?

    Guys
    Our project Targa does not have the silentbloc ( porsche says not available ) ….I am showing part cut from donor
    Whats best method to remove for installation ?

    So alot of work to press out ?..it has a slight taper so took some time to get alignment so its centered on the inside opening

    Finally got it centered and used long hardwood block to drive all the way home
    Seems the factory installed then used a small tack weld to hold in position but there is no way it will move from final position..So did not tack weld

    Nice. There are several places in these cars where "silentblocs" are used, including the mounting for the electrical panel on the driver's side of the engine compartment. I have a feeling McMaster-Carr has a roughly equivalent part.
