Luft9 will be in the Bay Area - SAVE THE DATE APRIL 29-30

Block whatever you had planned for that weekend now. If you haven't been to Luft, you need to go. I'd block all day that Friday 28th as well, as there will be tons of gruppe drives happening all over the Bay Area, and likely some unaffiliated events that evening as well. If you don't know what Luft is, and you want to be on the email lists when they come out, you can subscribe here - https://luftgekuhlt.com/blogs/events...eid=6be7a874b6

I'm likely going to recruit a few folks to put together a GVBC style drive for that Friday morning, starting in Woodside (route TBD but expect up and down Skyline Blvd, PCH, Hwy 9 will all be included). PM me if you want to collaborate on it and help get the word out.

Yes it's a frustration for those of us who aren't local and are travelling to the event. I bought tickets but if I go depends on where it is, what the hotel situation is, what's the logistics of getting to the event, flight times and on and on. Ah well - it's a great event, but it's getting to be so large that it a bit of a cluster getting to/from and getting around.

Well stated! I’m hesitant to make any concrete plans because I may have to cancel some, hotel, flight, and rental car. Can the tickets be sold on if not able to attend.

over on Alameda island with the aircraft carrier?
Treasure island also has some very large open spaces.
But the easiest would simply be the track Sears Point (Infineon)
