We drove over from Tucson on Wednesday. bad rainstorm when we left Tucson the worst sandstorm I have ever seen in Yuma, then snow in Julian. Epic trip.
Tucson AZ.
Fritz, it was great meeting you guys and hearing about your heroic travels! These cars were meant to be driven - and you guys represent that to the highest level. I drove from Huntington Beach to Pasadena in heavy rain only to have a hail storm hover over my car at the Sierra Madre event, but I was happy I drove - I wouldn't change my decision at all. Who knows how many years I have to drive this thing
Looking forward to meeting up with you guys in Tucson soon.
Oh, and the only folks that may have upped your travels were the guys that shipped their cars from Sweden - they drove to all of the events in some really bad weather!
