    Rennsport 2023 Ticket Prices

I just read that it now costs nearly $145 for a one-day ticket to Rennsport ($135 + fees). That is a big jump over the prices that were charged the last time Rennsport was at Laguna Seca. Big thumbs down for the parties responsible for setting this and the other high prices associated with the event.

I'm not sure you've noticed, but everything is more expensive these days. At the previous Rennsport gas was about $2.00 to $2.50, milk was 1/2 of what it is today, a gallon of Glasurit has about doubled since then. Want to see it double again? Oh, I better not go there.

I challenge anyone who wants to complain about prices for an event to try and put one together. I've never done a big event but our yearly open house was getting pretty big before Covid hit. I never charged anyone a dime to attend or eat and drink at the food truck but I know how much it was all costing. A one day event ended up costing me about $10,000. So had I been charging to make the event not free it wouldn't have been cheap for the people coming.
So unless you want to start putting on events or working with event people to make them more economical, I suggest anyone complaining about the "high" cost of an event for their high end luxury car to just please thank the people putting it on and fill every tip jar they can find.

Here is what $10,000 buys you.

Suffice it to say, we have had a number of posts that were obviously computer-generated. I either watch them and delete as needed, or, in some instances, delete as spam immediately if links are included. And I always appreciate when questionable posts are reported for review.
