Can SWB fuel pumps be rebuilt?

I bought a fresh electrical panel for my restoration. The Bendix fuel pump has failed. I also have 3 unrestored original fuel pumps.

Is there anyone restoring Bendix fuel pumps?

If not, does anyone know the correct Bendix model for replacement?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you know a professional that provides the rebuild service?

NO AFFILIATION EXCEPT I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER

    https://oddparts.net/about-us/

I have used this shop to restore 2 Hardi Fuel pumps, my gas tank and gas sending unit for my 1968 911L

They did awesome work and I do recommend the work they did for me and the cost.

It can't hurt to ask them about your Bendix fuel pump.

    failed in which way?
if the coil is toast it is pretty unlikely that a rebuild makes sens..since it is molded in ---
everything else is only a question of getting the spares--- never needed spares but i also would be interested where to get them...
are FACET pump(the bendix lookalike one) internals interchangeable with bendix?

You can cannibalize the Faucet pumps for some parts, especially the screen and gasket. I can't recall if the spring and piston work. Make sure you order the lowest pressure Faucet made if trying to use the spring and piston. I have repaired many by simply honing the piston sleeve and a light polish on the piston. Never saw one with a bad coil but I'm sure it's possible.

Indeed a new FACET pump can be a donor.
