    PMO also offers them as complete kits with studs and gaskets.

    On 356s they put insulators between the carbs and manifolds but on 911s they go between manifolds and heads. I’d rather remove the studs from manifolds.

    It's been a while, but I think I actually got the spacers for my 914-6 w/stock 2.0 engine from the source listed below installed between the carbs and manifolds. I had the gaskets and purchased the longer studs separately. Didn't want to risk removing studs from heads with engine in car. In fact, familiar with 356/912, I never realized 911 insulating spacers even got mounted at the head. Maybe more effective, but adding spacers under carbs was much easier and did the job at keeping carb fuel cooler. Linkages needed to be readjusted. Obviously, you want to make sure ignition timing, valve adjust and oil cooling are all correct.
