I was curious about this car when it was listed for sale here. Looks even better than I would have guessed.

Was the for sale thread deleted?

I believe this is the one Tom Drummond dug out of the shed in Socal. Saw it at his shop a few weeks ago, 40 year old dust has something magical

It's been fun just exploring this car. The original owner referenced above sold it in 1974 where it stayed with the same owner. Looks like it was stored in about 1984 in a thankfully dry garage in California for almost 40 years. The battery is dated June 1981 - and did not leak. The 90 year old owner passed in 2020 and the estate sold the car. Here are a few areas, and a few places where I washed and lightly cleaned the paint. The broom stick works just fine for now and three of the 4 front lights work, plus the radio seems good! Still deciding on the plan, but I'll clean her a bit and put her up on the lift for now.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
