My wife and I drove up Pikes Peak with a group of 20 Porsches. I had the only air cooled car in the group. We stopped at the starting line. As we were heading out a new Safari Porsche pulled up so I pealed off the group. I pulled up next to the car as the guy I’m building two cars for really likes that model. Well it ended up being driven by Jeff Zwart. We talked for about 15 minutes or so and showed each other our cars. He was up there training other racers. Then I hauled ass up the hill to catch the group. It was a great day. My wife shot a bunch of pictures. I’ll post more when I get them.
We all had radios and the author of the book who has driven this race 7 times talked to us as we went through the course.

Drove down to Houston Coffee and Cars featuring Porsche ... one of the last longer trips for a while now that we are in hot summer sauna season. Colors really change with direct sun.

Went on a little drive up the NorCal Coast last Saturday. What a blast! Truth be told, I drove my 356c and my son drive the 71 911T. For more and better pictures, search Searennen 8 on Facebook and Instagram.
