Drove from Golden to Boulder to the last Fuelfed cars and coffee for the season. This used to be a small quaint event. It looks like we'll need more room. If it gets too much bigger I'll bow out.

The car and I went for what might be the last drive of the season. Weather, 30's and 40's. Elevation, mostly north of 8000. Traffic, almost none.

Saganashkee Slough. Fall colors have faded, but clear, blue fall sky and the Forest Preserves are among the few things to still be grateful for in Cook County, Illinois. A few forefathers had the right idea years ago, otherwise this would all be a sub-division.

Thanks Rick, as always it's still a delight to drive this car.

Fall colours in SW Ontario. One of the most beautiful falls I have seen in 30 years here.
Too bad the roads don't have a lot of curves, but hey. Hildegard still eats them up.

You guys are killing me. Have a look at Chris Pomares' post from 11/1. On 11/5 it began snowing here in Denver and hasn't stopped since. We now have about 14 inches of snow on the ground and about as much again predicted tonight. What did I do with my early 911 today? I put it on its cute little Porsche Classic battery maintainer.

Like Rich, for 3 to 6 months we watch you flat landers (sub 8000' elevation) drive your cars and we are jealous. The other 6 to 9 months the high country is the place to be. When the cars go in, the skis come out.
