    Petersen Drive

I'd received a notice from The Petersen about a 'drive' they'd organized --- from their museum to a car storage facility of some kind, out towards Fillmore, I think (Santa Paula, actually) . . . food included. I forget the price ($75)

Think I was one of two cars that actually drove the route

Seems most everybody else just went straight there!

Interesting collection of cars there. Good food, too --- mini-tacos . . .

Guess I got there late --- but I got to eat!

A group of us spent 2 days at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway... about 1 hour east of Palm Springs California.
2 great days on the track and about 220 miles total for me.

We spent the night at the onsite cabins. Porsche Palm Springs sponsored day 2. First Class is all I can say.
Everything from the latest GT3 RS to some old 1973 911's and even a 904 recreation.
