Took a drive around the hood yesterday with the '65 getting ready for the "Historic Display" at the Parade. Rancho La Quinta has about 7 miles of roads inside the gates.

Sounds great! Although, after last night, I've decided better not to track a nice street car anymore. Maybe a dedicated track car is in my future.

@Uli: Cool, looks like you had fun!

Did my first autocross since early 1988 today. The methodology is still the same, but oh my, the technology of the cars has changed so very much. I had the sole longhood. It was fun chatting with many of the participants at this inaugural Northern AZ event. Hopefully they will hold another in the Fall!

Now that we’ve finally gotten our nice summer weather, I’ve been commuting to work in Chester. As I was stuck in traffic the other day, I looked right into the chrome hubcap of a semi truck next to me and thought that was worth a pic

Out of it's 8 month hibernation here in the UK. Drove my ST to Beaulieu in the new forest. A good shakedown before our road trip to the Le Mans classic later this month.

    Just Drivin' 'Round . . .

. . . North Hollywood, Simi Valley, Antelope Valley, North Hollywood (again), then the AV (again)

    Happens when I drive it

    Picked-up the Nasty Car from TLG . . .

. . . then ran a coupla errands (birthday card + some groceries), tore off for home, went back to TLG for an 'adustment' (blush!) . . .

    . . . then tore off for home, again --- in semi-rush hour traffic . . . on a Friday afternoon

    K --- I know I'm making it sound slow . . . but --- it wasn't

    ~300 km
