. . . 'sides --- SoCal will only be green a few more weeks . . . then everything 'll turn brown. Now 's as good as it gets, scenery-wise

At least you'll have forests full of trees 'till the fall
Those nice Eiffel roads are 3-4 hours away from me unfortunately. I'd love to have some proper Californian roads and canyons at my doorstep!

This thread isn't titled "Where'd you drive your early 911 two weeks ago" so I'll just share this image from today. Spring is very slow to arrive this year.

Good thread to be over here ......

After be’n in and out of the shop for the last few weeks it was finally time for a drive…

The West San Fernando Valley in SoCal was almost 90 degrees, clear and dry... The beach was a bit hazy

Drove up to the top of Stunt Rd, Las Floras down to PCH, up to the once ‘Malibu Kitchen’, continued to Latigo Canyon, back over to Kanan Rd., over to ’The Old Place, and Mulholland HWY back… Took Ventura Blvd instead of the Freeway home

    About 70 miles… at a nice pace...

    - Top of Stunt

    - The site of the once ‘Malibu Kitchen’ (now the Sunroom ? )

    - End of Latigo

    - At ‘The Old Place’

    - Across the street from the soon to be completed MEGA Porsche Dealership on Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills… Less than a mile East of the smaller (soon to be closed) existing one…

    Cheers,
    cm

    Blue Ridge Parkway

Living only 15 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway north entrance, I find myself up there frequently. This cool Sunday morning was no different. First stop was Veritas Vineyard, then south on highway 151 to Devils Backbone, up 664 past Wintergreen to the Parkway, north on the Parkway to the north entrance, then home by 9:30am.

Saturday I went to a Cars and Coffee then buzzed around in the Colorado foothills. As in under 9500 feet.

I was at the Old Place the day before, Chuck! From there cruised Mulholland down to Malibu Brewing Company. I have been at our house in AZ for 2 months - first time starting and driving the '72 in 2 months - it was great getting her out on a nice, long drive!
