Thank you uwe for your comments.

The seats are most likely early 70 seats. But the set will fit any SWB or LWB car. The vinyl / leatherette is original. I compared it to others and it really is. The rails look the same age period. There is one ink marking on one rail. It’s a 9…. So either sept 70 or 69? :-) It doesn’t matter rails can easily be swapped for other ones in the last 50 years.

So still for Sale a very nicely preserved early Rallye set. With very good quality upholstery.Offers are welcome

    Have a good Sunday

the date stamps always included day/month/year, e.g. "22.05.1969" or later "6.April 1973".the font changed several times. in this respect, the 9 you have left is definitely a day (i.e. the 9th day of a month) due to the distance to the screw and does not refer to the year. But since there is no 0 in front of it, I would rather go for the later version with the month written out. but these are just assumptions and we don't know if they are still the original rails. I continue to stick with "not 1969" as mentioned above.

the swb porsche you mentioned would have the earlier 4-leg version of the recaro bucket.

hope i could help a bit.

    regards

    Uwe
