Never heard of pressings like that.. but interesting. Classical is not to everyone's taste, with hundreds of years history, so it's a tall order to gain any understanding of the volume of stuff out there. Otoh, it's worth the effort if you don't mind the archeology to learn about it. One thing that never seems to get old on vintage Advents, is Maurice André paired with a cathedral pipe organ in the late 70's. Talented when young, thrown out of a conservatory for lack of work ethic, which probably had something to do with how he developed. Never hear something like him again.

Love the replies. Mine is an old Garrard. The mechanism that drops different "records" is very complex. Sadly the plastic cover died. But the rest of it looks stellar!

When I get it back running, I'll get video of it.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.

I have a Benjamin Miracord with 3 sets of styluses. My everyday is a Dual.

I have a bunch of other stereo equipment from the 1970's. It's called the Golden Age of Sound since sales were the highest. Everyone had vinyl records and systems.

Vinyl is making a comeback recently.

My turntable is an old Yamaha, still works fine, stylus is getting a bit old but that’s alright. Just got into Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s music. With a father like that how could Tommy Tedesco not be a great guitarist?
