    hi clyde, i can't give you any information about repro seats. i have never seen a reproduction of the ultra-light porsche version, only replicas of the recaro aftermarket version as for the weight.

    should you be interested in purchasing an original recaro knurled screw seat - porsche version (weight approx. 4700 grams), please pm me.

    I found these a while back here from another member seeing them in Orange County at one of the parts resellers. I cant tell you the make, they look good enough but the knurled nut turnbuckle isn’t functional.

    I know the guys in van nuys California have a nice set. Forgot the shop name. Big resto shop, I’m sure someone will chime in.

    there you see the shell we make in details

    and I post some pics of a repolstered set I got on stock tomorrow Euro time off to bed now ( raw shells are sold out but are in the making )

    Is there any chance that you can upload some better picture to Google drive or some image website ?
    I might be interested depending on few factors...



    There was actually auction at BAT with really good looking knock off which were sold for just over 3k$
