The driver's seat did not come with a "HOOK". Only the passenger seat came with a "hook" or, better yet, a seat back restraint. 1968 911s and 912's came with a restraint on both seat starting in Jan of 1968. This was due to a DOT (USA) regulation that required both seats to be restrained. Yes, you car looks like the restraint was removed nut that is not the case. It never had it and that is exactly the way it left the factory.

    Regards

    Jim

Dear Jim, many thanks indeed for your precise answer. Even if I could be proud and happy that the car is exactly the way it left the factory, for security reasons, I would feel secured if my driver seat could be restrained. Any idea where to find this part ? Kind regards.
