    Original RS Recaro Seats??

    Hi,

I have these seats out of a 73 911rs, I am unsure if they are original or reproduction seats. Does anyone know how to determine what they are?
    Thanks

My guess is reproduction. Do the adjusters work?

Would these seats be considered original that have been reupholstered with original seat tracks?

unfortunately no, these are not even original seat rails. the porsche version of the knurled screw seat is, as said, lightweigt. you can weigh your seats ;-) but you can also see from the many details that these are replicas. the back is also far too smooth for the lightweight constructions. I'm in France right now, otherwise I would post some pictures of my original. But you can find enough good photos on the internet or here using the search function. regards uwe

I am looking for original seats for the 1973 911rs. Would you be kind enough to send some photos of an original set when you have time? So we can use as a base for comparison when looking for originals? Would you also happen to have any for sale?

    Thank You
