    Highway 39

So you SoCal's drive Highway 39 a lot? It seems almost too good to be true.

    John

Edit: I just realized that this is an idiot question. It must be known locally be a different name. No one that owns a Porsche in Southern California is going to be unaware of this highway.

Locals may call it Azusa canyon and then Glendora Mountain Road (GMR), is a road off of it.

I've only done it twice ever... One as a kid, and once not too long ago ... and never all the way north to HWY 2 (Angeles Crest HWY)
I've found that the further north you go on it the diceyer the road gets....

Check out Latigo Canyon off of PCH just North of Malibu, all the way to Kanan Rd. .... GREAT driving road !!!!!

    Cheers

Looks pretty good on Google Street View... including lots of slow/boring cars. Will check it out when I visit LA again.

Check LA County Road Closures before you make a special trip. Glendora Mountain Road and Glendora Ridge Road are usually closed on holiday weekends as well as for views and landslides.
