Depending on how well the pro does it, I highly endorse. I'm going on year two and something like 7k miles, and it is still slick to the touch. I just use the Griots ceramic detailer to wipe the car down every few weeks and it is perfect. I liked it so much I had my track car done and the ease with which rubber marks come out is worth it.
