    A stupid question about rain shield hardware…

    This is dumb… and I’m probably over thinking it, but… what are you guys using for the springs to tie your wing nuts together on your rain shields/air cleaner covers?

    Atomic, mine don't have springs. There are 4 "standoffs" with a stud on each end that tie the base and top together.

    Here’s an example… I’d guess throttle return springs.
