    Looks like that new chrome ring doesn't fit right? Looking at the bottom of the puck there are no slots for the rings tabs to slide through making it sit too high. If this is the case can the tabs be removed and still work on this type of early puck?

    The original ring had no tabs and was lightly glued in with the center pad. I removed the tabs on the new ring, and purposely did not use adhesive so it could be centered when mounted to wheel -- I was going to inform the buyer of that.

    I've seen some hockey pucks with slots for the tabs and others without, I remember reading something about the versions but can't remember the details, maybe someone could enlighten us.

    I've centered the pad on a spare steering wheel and lightly glued in with Wurth contact cement. Reduced to $430 shipped to ContUS
