How will any of the exotic plastics and composites hold up?

Well said. One almost constant plastic piece beyond annoying.. 'center consoles' between the seats, where once there was some crawl space. Never would've predicted that one.

Who would've thought 'space' on the floor would one day be out of date, anachronism.. but that's the reality.

This is part of article I referred to. In fairness to the publishers as it’s a current hard copy I’ll post the page with the number I was referring to

Turns out the number of damping combinations available to the driver to adjust from the driver’s seat is about 6500. When done in combination with the diff adjustments there are about 500,000 permutations available from the driving seat.
Later in the article it explains the journalist had drafted in a Porsche motorsport race engineer to help work through it.

I find it interesting to see how tech is increasingly being adopted in road race cars where bought for track use.
